Authentic documentary nature photograph, vertical 3:4. A fallen, moss-covered western red cedar nurse log lies diagonally through a damp temperate forest, with a line of small young cedar seedlings growing from its spine, their flat scaled green sprays in sharp focus. Soft overcast diffuse daylight, natural muted greens and warm reddish-brown bark, fine beads of moisture on the moss. Low camera angle close to the log, 50mm lens, shallow depth of field with softly blurred ferns and tall cedar trunks behind. Subtle fine-grain texture with slightly muted colour like 1990s film. Quiet, understated, unstaged. No people, no animals, no text, no logos, no watermarks.
