Wide Jar, Long Pickles
A broad glass jar of cucumber spears and mustard-colored brine, topped by a small funnel, in a simple hand-drawn landscape illustration.
Small 640×427, Medium 1200×800
Finished editorial ink-and-marker illustration, 3:2 landscape. On the right half of a warm ivory field, one comically broad glass pickling jar with rounded shoulders and a short neck, viewed slightly from above. Three extra-long cucumber spears lean at different angles inside, fully submerged in muted mustard brine; indicate their cut faces with one simple inner line each. A disproportionately tiny gray funnel rests in the open neck, suggesting the jar has just been filled. Loose charcoal-gray ink outlines, broad translucent marker fills, occasional natural stroke overlaps. One broad ivory reflection on the glass and a short soft gray grounding shadow. Keep the contents visible through the jar, with no intricate glass rendering. Quiet, playful, thumbnail-legible shapes; generous empty space on the left. No people, intricate hatching, diagrams, text, logos or watermarks.
