Big Hen, Little Peck
A yellow chicken with an oversized body bends toward the ground, painted in simple gouache shapes with indigo accents on warm ivory.
Small 640×400, Medium 1200×750
Finished editorial gouache illustration, landscape 8:5. One expressive chicken occupies the right two-thirds, facing left and bending its tiny head toward the ground to peck. Exaggerate its enormous pear-shaped sunflower-yellow body, short sturdy legs and small head; raise a blunt indigo fan tail at the far right. One broad indigo wing shape, a small yellow comb edged in indigo, a dot eye and simple triangular beak keep the silhouette unmistakably chicken. Opaque matte gouache fills with lightly uneven painted edges and a few loose marker-like indigo contours. Warm ivory paper background, one small brushed ground shadow, generous empty space on the left. Flat, cheerful, hand-drawn and legible at thumbnail size. No detailed feathers, hatching, props, diagrams or other animals. No text, logos or watermarks.
