Wide-Crowned Eucalyptus
An ivory eucalyptus silhouette with a short forked trunk and exaggerated hanging leaves interrupts a dark-green marker field.
Small 427×640, Medium 800×1200
Finished hand-drawn marker editorial illustration, 2:3 portrait. Create one eucalyptus as a negative silhouette: warm ivory paper left uncoloured inside a broad, irregular forest-green marker field. Place the tree low and slightly left, with an unusually short, thick forked trunk and an enormous asymmetric crown spreading sideways. Use a few oversized hanging lance-shaped leaves and generous dark gaps to make the eucalyptus recognizable at thumbnail size. The rightmost foliage hangs noticeably lower. No fine branches or intricate leaf detail. A simple muted-sage oval behind the crown suggests a pool of spotlight illumination, without depicting a room or fixture. Add only four broad clay and cream flecks near the bottom of the green field, loosely recalling terrazzo. Visible marker overlaps, gently ragged hand-drawn edges, flat colours. Leave generous quiet space above and to the right. One tree, no people, no scenery, no text, no logos, no watermarks.
