Weekend Above the Street

Finished hand-drawn marker editorial illustration, square 1:1. Elevated oblique view of an imaginatively broad, low garden roof with two shallow planted terraces, sweeping diagonally across the lower two-thirds. A single cream walking path curves through flat sage-green planting masses. On the right-hand bend, one small adult walks leisurely with hands tucked into pockets: distinctive pear-shaped ochre coat, narrow trousers, small head, minimal face, short relaxed step. The roof and curved path dominate; the walker provides the narrative focal point. Sparse coral and charcoal flecks in the paving suggest reclaimed aggregate. Thick irregular dark-green marker contours, broad simple colour fills with gently feathered edges, warm ivory sky and generous empty space at upper left. Soft daylight, one simple shadow beneath the walker. Clearly legible at thumbnail size. No intricate foliage, hatching, crowds or surrounding city detail. No text, logos or watermarks.
