Patchwork Sailboat Showcase
A handmade cardboard sailboat with an oversized patterned fabric sail displayed on a low plinth, drawn in loose marker strokes.
Small 640×640, Medium 1200×1200
Finished editorial marker illustration, square 1:1. One student-made sailboat displayed on a low cream classroom exhibition plinth, viewed slightly from above. Place it left of centre with generous empty space on the right. A comically squat, broad hull made from folded brown cardboard supports a thin wooden mast and one enormous asymmetric triangular sail. The sail is sewn from three salvaged fabric patches: coral with large cream dots, mustard with broad stripes, and plain dusty blue. Show a few widely spaced stitch marks and one folded cardboard seam, not intricate detail. Exaggerated proportions, clear handmade construction, confident imperfect marker outlines, flat colour fills and sparse felt-tip texture. Warm honey background with one soft peach shadow stretching sideways, suggesting hazy late sunlight. One coherent display scene, strong thumbnail silhouette, no people, no extra projects, no diagrams. No text, logos or watermarks.
