A Crown of Lather
A square marker illustration of a person massaging shampoo into an oversized head of dark hair, with white foam, small shoulders and open cream space at right.
Small 640×640, Medium 1200×1200
Finished hand-drawn editorial marker illustration, square 1:1, textile-inspired and deliberately simple. Close three-quarter view of one adult washing their hair, positioned left of centre and cropped at the upper chest. An enormously rounded head rises above tiny sloping shoulders; two compact, simply drawn hands press into wet dark-indigo hair. Large ivory shampoo bubbles gather into an uneven buoyant crown, with two water droplets near the temple. Chin slightly lifted, eyes closed, minimal contented face. Warm terracotta skin, coral shoulders, indigo hair and pale cream background. Build the scene from broad interlocking colour shapes like a loose tapestry; use only a few thick crossing marker strokes inside the hair, with dry broken edges and visible paper grain. No intricate weave or hatching. Keep the silhouette immediately legible at thumbnail size. Leave the right quarter mostly empty, with generous breathing room above. No plumbing props, no additional people, no text, no logos or watermarks.
