Orange, Open Wide
A wide, asymmetric orange half with enlarged segments occupies the left side of a warm, panoramic oil-painted composition.
Small 640×256, Medium 1200×480
Finished playful editorial oil painting, landscape 5:2. One fresh orange half rests cut-face upward on a plain pale-apricot surface, viewed obliquely from above. Place it in the left third, leaving the right half spacious and empty. Exaggerate its silhouette into a broad, asymmetric oval, with an unusually thick rind on one side and a few enormous, clearly separated orange segments. Cream pith divisions, simple golden highlights and a short soft terracotta shadow keep the fruit legible at thumbnail size. Broad opaque oil-painted colour shapes and loose dark-orange contours give the spontaneous economy of hand-drawn marker illustration while retaining the oil medium. Diffuse sunset-warm light; restrained orange, cream and apricot palette. Minimal surface detail, no intricate texture or hatching. One fruit only, no people, no medical objects. No text, logos or watermarks.
