A Bulb Comes to Rest
Three consecutive photographs show a tulip bulb descending into a soil-filled terracotta pot against a blue seamless background.
Small 512×640, Medium 960×1200
Photographic motion sequence, overall 4:5 portrait: three equal horizontal frames stacked with narrow plain gutters. Same locked camera, same pot, same lighting, one continuous session. A small unglazed terracotta pot filled with soil sits on a muted dusk-blue seamless paper sweep. A single brown tulip bulb is released from outside the crop: first just above the rim, then descending into a prepared central planting hollow, finally resting in that hollow with its pointed neck visible. No hands or people. Eye-level view slightly above the rim, normal lens, sufficient depth of field to resolve bulb and pot. One off-camera tungsten backstage work lamp gives warm side illumination and a simple soft-edged shadow; faint cool ambient fill preserves shadow detail. Quiet documentary treatment, realistic exposure, naturally irregular clay and bulb skin, no added distressing or film grain. Keep positions and framing consistent; restrained motion softness only on the falling bulb. Generous uncluttered space around the pot. No text, logos or watermarks.
