Water into the Little Field
A long wooden chute feeds blue water into a squat crop basin enclosed by thick terracotta banks, viewed obliquely from above.
Small 640×640, Medium 1200×1200
Finished hand-drawn marker editorial illustration, square 1:1. View obliquely from above into one small irrigation landscape. An exaggeratedly long, narrow wooden chute enters diagonally from the upper left and releases a short blue stream into a squat oval sunken crop bed. A shallow blue watering channel surrounds the planted soil, enclosed by one oversized terracotta earthen bank: clear nested shapes, not a diagram. A few chunky green seedlings establish agriculture without intricate rows. Place the basin in the lower-left two-thirds, leaving warm cream breathing room at upper right. Broad uneven marker contours, simple opaque colour fills, occasional visible stroke overlaps. Ochre wood, terracotta earth, cobalt water and fresh green plants. Focused warm illumination on the arriving water, with one broad plum-coloured shadow outside the bank. Playful asymmetric proportions, legible at thumbnail size. No people, arrows, labels, text, logos or watermarks.
