Standalone nonfigurative textile artwork, landscape 8:5. One continuous plane of matte stage-black cotton fills the frame edge to edge. In the lower-right quadrant, a short reinforced diagonal seam draws the surface taut, producing three broad, shallow tension lines that fade into the surrounding fabric. The seam is the sole focal point, a subtle trace of backstage handling and unseen labour; no literal theatre scene. Leave the left two-thirds almost uninterrupted. Restrained charcoal and graphite palette, with a narrow pewter highlight along the seam. Soft grazing light from the upper right reveals subdued woven texture and low relief without dramatic folds. Close, straight-on framing, polished tactile finish, quiet asymmetry, controlled tonal separation. No people, tools, rooms, mockups, text, logos or watermarks.
