Under the Rice Pot Lid
Freshly steamed rice shows beneath a displaced aluminium lid in a quiet kitchen, illuminated by warm late-afternoon sunlight.
Small 512×640, Medium 960×1200
Real-life editorial photograph, 4:5 portrait. An ordinary aluminium cooking pot sits on a plain kitchen counter, its lid resting diagonally across the rim after being slid aside. Photograph from slightly above rim height at a three-quarter angle: the exposed opening clearly reveals fluffy, freshly steamed white rice, with a delicate wisp of steam. The lid forms a broad silver diagonal above the rice. Low golden-hour window light skims the metal and catches a few sparse dust motes against the shadowed kitchen wall. Pot occupies the lower two-thirds; uncluttered breathing room above. Normal 50mm perspective, moderate depth of field, believable exposure and irregular metal patina from use. Archival editorial-print character through gently faded colour, warm paper-like whites and softened black density, not added dirt, scratches or film grain. No styling props, people, artificial blur, HDR, text, logos or watermarks.
