The Wide Welcome
A tall, asymmetric community centre with an oversized entrance canopy, warm copper lighting and a simple bench, rendered in loose marker strokes.
Small 320×640, Medium 600×1200
Finished hand-drawn editorial poster illustration, portrait 1:2. One neighbourhood community centre viewed from a low three-quarter angle: a comically narrow, slightly leaning obsidian facade with two oversized windows and an absurdly broad asymmetric copper entrance canopy. Open double doors reveal a simple warm light field, not a detailed interior. A single long bench is built into the sheltered entrance. Copper-to-amber artificial lighting washes the doorway and underside of the canopy in one soft gradient. One broad muted water stain follows the base of the exterior wall. Loose thick marker contours, uneven broad fills, exaggerated architectural proportions, minimal detail, no hatching. Building sits left of centre, with clear warm-ivory breathing room above and to the right; only a small pavement wedge beneath it. Welcoming summer-evening atmosphere. Strong thumbnail silhouette, no surrounding buildings, trains or people. No text, logos or watermarks.
