The Unruly Star
A large asymmetric coral star and small cobalt stars sweep diagonally across cream paper, with loose marker contours and subtle risograph grain.
Small 427×640, Medium 800×1200
Finished editorial illustration, 2:3 portrait, expressive hand-drawn marker work with risograph-inspired flat ink layers. A single playful star field on warm cream paper. One enormous lopsided coral star sits above and left of centre, with one absurdly elongated point and several short blunt points. Seven tiny cobalt stars and a few simple dots trail diagonally toward the upper-right edge. A single pale coral star fragment, cropped at the lower-left edge with a soft ink boundary, suggests near depth. Leave the lower-right third largely empty. Thick irregular marker contours, broad overlapping fills, sparse paper grain and slight two-colour registration offsets. Bright, airy, mischievous; no gradients, intricate hatching, constellation lines or astronomical labels. Strong silhouettes readable at thumbnail size. No people, text, logos or watermarks.
