The Long Rinse
A side-view figure with an elongated torso rinses long dark hair in an exaggeratedly broad peach basin, with daylight falling across the rim.
Small 640×480, Medium 1200×900
Finished hand-painted editorial illustration, landscape 4:3. Side view of one fictional adult bending from the left over a comically wide peach bathroom basin on the right. Distinctive silhouette: elongated torso in a cobalt shirt, compact hips, face mostly hidden by a long dark ribbon of wet hair hanging into the basin. One simple hand rests on the near rim; the other arm is obscured. An oversized curved tap sends a single pale-blue stream onto the hair, with a few ivory suds collecting below. Opaque matte tempera poster-paint shapes, expressive hand-drawn marker contours, occasional broad brush streaks. Warm cream background, generous empty upper space. Window daylight forms one broad pale patch across the rim; overlapping shapes and a single soft shadow give restrained depth. Bold thumbnail-readable forms, playful asymmetry, no intricate detail, no medical setting. No text, logos or watermarks.
