The Long Rainbow Depot
A wide, low bus depot with a rainbow-striped roof and one squat parked bus, drawn with graphite shading over bright marker colour.
Small 640×360, Medium 1200×675
Finished hand-drawn editorial illustration, 16:9 landscape. Elevated three-quarter view of one comically elongated, low bus depot on a plain warm-paper ground. Its enormous shallow roof stretches diagonally across the left two-thirds of the frame, supported by just three chunky posts. One short, broad turquoise bus sits inside the open-front shelter, with a dark windshield and two simple wheels. Broad saturated rainbow marker bands follow the roof surface. Loose graphite contours and soft, visibly rubbed pencil shading give the building volume; no intricate hatching. A single flat violet shadow wedge floats slightly offset beside the depot, deliberately independent of its geometry. Simple bold silhouettes, playful asymmetry, minimal details, generous empty space at right. No people, text, logos or watermarks.
