The Long Little Island
A long, asymmetric green island rises into a bulbous hill at one end, surrounded by muted blue lake water.
Small 640×240, Medium 1200×450
Finished hand-drawn colored-pencil editorial illustration, panoramic 8:3. One playful lake island viewed obliquely from slightly above: an absurdly elongated low tail stretches left from an oversized rounded grassy hump on the right. A thin burnt-orange bank clearly separates avocado-green land from muted blue water. Three tiny grass strokes crown the hump, emphasizing its enormous proportions. Place the island below the middle, with generous open water at left and a narrow warm-cream sky above a distant, simple horizon. A few broad horizontal pencil strokes suggest calm ripples. Bold simplified silhouettes, broad waxy pencil fills with marker-like economy, loose confident outlines and lightly visible paper grain. Warm 1970s-inspired colors, no intricate hatching or detailed vegetation. One continuous scene, no panels, no people, no text, no logos or watermarks.
