Tall Pot, Quiet Steam
A loose marker illustration of asparagus steaming in an elongated cobalt pot, with its lid resting beside it on an ivory counter.
Small 320×640, Medium 600×1200
Finished hand-drawn marker editorial illustration, portrait 1:2. A comically tall, narrow cobalt enamel asparagus steamer stands slightly right of centre on a short ivory countertop line. Three-quarter view from just above the rim: a small bundle of upright asparagus is visible inside the open pot, its green tips simplified into blunt shapes. Two large, slow steam curls rise from the opening. The pot has oversized rounded loop handles; its small oval lid leans against the base at left. No cutaway or visible internal mechanism. Warm overhead light suggested by one pale highlight on the enamel and a soft beige shadow beneath. Broad marker strokes, slightly wobbly dark-blue contours, flat fills with occasional overlapping ink edges. Ivory background, restrained green food accent, ample empty space above and to the left. Simple, peaceful, legible at thumbnail size. No people, intricate hatching, text, logos or watermarks.
