Stork on the Old Nest
A white stork stands quietly on a weathered nest of old branches atop a dead tree, with a misty wetland far below under soft overcast light.
Small 640×640, Medium 1200×1200
Authentic wildlife photograph, square 1:1 format. A single wild white stork with black flight feathers and red bill stands upright and still at the edge of a very old, wide nest of silvery bleached branches, built on the broken top of a dead tree. Seen from a low viewpoint far below with a 500mm telephoto, side-on, bird in the lower-centre of the frame, head turned slightly toward a distant misty wetland. Moss and lichen on the aged sticks, a few grey feathers caught in the nest. Soft diffuse overcast sky fills the upper half, pale and empty. Muted natural colours, faded greys, soft green haze in the background, shallow depth of field, accurate anatomy and feather detail, subtle sensor grain. Quiet, reflective documentary mood. No people, no text, no logos.
