Finished editorial gouache illustration, 4:5 portrait. A tiny squat terracotta pot sits at the lower left on a broad cream stair tread. One slender burgundy stem leans diagonally upward, supporting an absurdly oversized, asymmetric green leaf that fills the middle-right of the frame. A narrow wedge of warm sunlight catches the leaf, making its simple lime-green surface luminous against a muted lavender shadow field. Its large, clearly connected shadow bends over the tread and riser of two shallow steps. Slightly elevated viewpoint, bold silhouette, opaque matte gouache fills, loose dark marker-like contours, minimal brush texture. Suggest sunlight nourishing growth through the plant alone, not a scientific diagram. Taut reaching gesture, generous empty space above and left. No arrows, symbols, people, text, logos or watermarks.
