Authentic nature photograph, 3:2 landscape, quiet documentary style. Close study of a mature beech trunk in woodland on a rainy day: smooth grey bark darkened by rain, soft patches of pale green lichen and moss, fine vertical rivulets and small beaded drops catching the diffuse light. The trunk crosses the frame slightly diagonally, sharp focus on the bark texture in the left two thirds, falling into gentle blurred green-grey woodland on the right. Soft overcast daylight, natural muted colours, believable exposure, 85mm lens at f/4, subtle sensor grain. Calm, hushed, comforting. No people, no props, no text, no logos, no watermarks.
