Authentic nature photograph, 3:2 landscape. A single poppy seed capsule with its crown-like lid, petals already gone, on a slender bristly green stem, placed on the left third of the frame, shot at a low eye-level angle. A few tiny raindrops cling to the grey-green capsule. Behind it, a soft, dreamy, out-of-focus meadow of pale grasses, cool green stems and a few muted red poppy blooms melts into a pale silvery mist, leaving open calm space to the right. Soft overcast diffuse daylight, natural colours, believable exposure, 200mm lens at f/4 with creamy shallow depth of field, subtle sensor grain. Quiet observational documentary feel. No people, no props, no text, no logos, no watermarks.
