One Flamingo Step
A three-frame photographic sequence shows a flamingo lifting, planting and settling its foot in shallow water under warm evening light.
Small 512×640, Medium 960×1200
Quiet documentary wildlife photography presented as three equal horizontal frames stacked within a 4:5 portrait, separated by narrow ivory gutters. Each frame shows the same single flamingo, full body in side profile, during one uninterrupted step through a shallow lagoon. Fixed camera position and identical framing: bird in the right third facing left into open water. Top frame: bent leg lifting its foot clear of the surface. Middle: foot touching down with a tiny disturbance. Bottom: weight settling as a small ripple spreads. Anatomically accurate legs and joints, naturally curved neck, dusty coral feathers and black-tipped bill. Low golden-hour sunlight skims the plumage; muted blue-grey water carries a narrow warm reflection. Distant shoreline excluded, uncluttered water filling each background. Telephoto observation from shore, realistic exposure, sufficient depth of field, restrained natural colour. No other birds, no artificial grain, no HDR. No text, logos or watermarks.
