One Arm to the Sky
A broad, asymmetric saguaro stands at the right of an indigo desert scene, illuminated by a warm ochre pool of light.
Small 640×360, Medium 1200×675
Finished hand-drawn marker editorial illustration, 16:9 landscape. One saguaro rooted in a simple desert ground occupies the right third. Give it a comically barrel-wide, squat trunk, one tiny hooked branch, and one absurdly elongated upright arm with a rounded tip. Keep its silhouette unmistakably cactus-like. An intimate pool of warm amber illumination catches the front and nearby sand; the surrounding desert is deep indigo. Broad sunlit-ochre fills, a few dark blue rib strokes, irregular marker contours and slight overlapping ink edges. A single low horizon and a short chunky shadow establish the setting. Slightly low viewpoint, entire cactus visible with comfortable margins. Leave the left half mostly quiet indigo for presentation use. Flat, bold shapes legible at thumbnail size; no intricate spines, hatching, extra plants, people or visible light fixture. No text, logos or watermarks.
