Mind the Horns
A long-bodied goat lowers its enormous horns to pass through a low arch, rendered with simple marker contours and muted colour.
Small 640×427, Medium 1200×800
Finished editorial illustration in loose hand-drawn marker, 3:2 landscape. One goat in full side profile faces right, caught ducking beneath a low arched doorway. Give it an absurdly elongated cream torso, four very short legs with simple split hooves, a lowered compact head, a small beard and two oversized backward-curving ochre horns. Its body stretches across the lower-left portion; its head enters the arch at right. Make the ducking posture immediately legible, with horns just clearing the opening. Suggest the doorway with one thick muted terracotta arch and a flat blue-grey interior, no masonry detail. A broad pale wedge of side light crosses the floor. Loose dark-brown gesture contours, sparse felt-tip overlaps, broad flat fills, warm off-white ground and generous empty space above. Minimal facial marks, no intricate hatching or extra props. No people, no text, no logos or watermarks.
