Little Bridge, Big Arch
A squat weathered-stone footbridge crosses a narrow stream between grassy park banks, with an exaggerated arch and softly grainy shadows.
Small 640×640, Medium 1200×1200
Finished editorial illustration, square 1:1. An empty park footbridge seen from a low three-quarter viewpoint, crossing diagonally through the lower half of the frame. Give the weathered stone bridge a comically squat body, thick uneven parapets and one oversized, slightly lopsided arch. A narrow muted-blue stream passes beneath it; a simple ochre walking path joins soft sage-green banks at either end. Rounded stone edges and two shallow chips suggest gentle age, not collapse. Expressive hand-drawn marker contours and broad colour fills, combined with mezzotint-inspired velvety charcoal shadows and sparse soft grain, especially inside the arch. Warm ivory ground, restrained sage, ochre and slate palette. Soft diffuse daylight. Keep stonework simplified into a few large masses, no intricate masonry or hatching. Strong thumbnail silhouette, generous breathing room across the upper third. No people, text, logos or watermarks.
