Light Going Up

Finished editorial geometric illustration in 3:2 landscape, expressive hand-drawn marker with broad flat fills and slightly irregular contours. On the right half of a long shared worktable sits one comically squat desk lamp, viewed from slightly above. An enormous cobalt two-step rectangular base supports a short thick off-centre stem and a tiny coral trapezoid shade with a cream underside. A single pale-yellow triangular beam inexplicably rises from the top of the shade, widening upward; no downward beam. Keep the lamp silhouette bold and readable at thumbnail size. The muted peach tabletop crosses the lower third; two cropped, simple chair-back outlines quietly establish a co-working workspace. Warm ivory background, generous empty space on the left. Minimal overlapping geometry, sparse marker streaks, no gradients, intricate hatching or extra desk objects. No people, text, logos or watermarks.
