Keeping the Door Open
A yellow rubber door wedge beneath a blue kitchen door, photographed close to floor level in patterned window sunlight.
Small 512×640, Medium 960×1200
Quiet documentary object photograph, portrait 4:5. A single bright yellow rubber door wedge is firmly compressed beneath the lower edge of a partly open blue-painted kitchen door, clearly holding it open. Low oblique viewpoint near floor level, normal 50mm lens perspective; the wedge is the focal point in the lower third, with its sloped profile and contact against the door plainly visible. The door forms a strong blue vertical plane above it. Available sunlight through a nearby divided window projects broad rectangular patches and narrow mullion shadows across a pale grey linoleum floor. Cheerful blue-yellow contrast, realistic exposure, gently varied rubber and painted surfaces, only incidental everyday scuffs. Tight, believable household crop without decorative props; enough floor remains to let the geometry breathe. Keep the object and contact area sharply resolved without artificial blur or exaggerated microdetail. No people, no text, no logos or watermarks.
