Square nonfigurative optical artwork, a minimal prism-dispersion study of ink. One irregular midnight-blue ink crescent floats slightly below and left of centre on a uniform warm ivory field, occupying roughly one third of the canvas. Its dense curved belly tapers into two delicate translucent tips. Along its outer right edge, refracted light separates into narrow cyan, violet and muted amber fringes that gently diffuse into the background, integrated with the ink rather than forming separate objects. Smooth optical gradients, subtle pooled pigment variation, softly feathered liquid boundaries; no hard outline or cast shadow. Deliberate asymmetry, restrained colour, generous untouched space, polished contemporary gallery finish. Flat standalone artwork, not a photographed print. No literal prism, figurative objects, rooms or people. No text, logos or watermarks.
