Authentic documentary wildlife photograph, 4:3 landscape. A wild red deer hind stands side-on at the edge of a damp upland meadow while her spotted calf nurses beneath her, photographed from a respectful distance with a 400mm telephoto lens. In the foreground a shallow rain pool holds a soft, slightly rippled reflection of both animals. Soft diffuse overcast light, thin mist over rushes and birch woodland behind, natural muted greens, russet coat and pale grey sky, gently faded tones like a remembered childhood scene. Accurate anatomy, realistic fur, shallow depth of field, subtle sensor grain. Pair placed off-centre with quiet space around. No people, no text, no logos, no watermarks.
