Half-Remembered Pickup
An exaggerated coral pickup angles uphill across cream paper, with a huge rounded bonnet, tiny cargo bed and softly fading rear ink.
Small 320×640, Medium 600×1200
Finished hand-drawn editorial illustration, portrait 1:2, risograph-inspired marker print on warm cream paper. One pickup truck in side profile, facing uphill toward the upper right, placed across the lower-middle of the canvas. An absurdly oversized rounded coral bonnet projects ahead of a small cab and tiny empty open cargo bed; two chunky navy wheels keep the silhouette immediately recognisable. A single short diagonal ground stroke supports the vehicle. Broad marker fills, wobbling navy contours, restrained two-ink misregistration and sparse paper grain. Toward the rear, coral ink becomes pale and slightly incomplete, suggesting a fading recollection while preserving the truck's outline. Flat source-free colour, no cast shadow. Large uninterrupted breathing room above. Simple shapes, no intricate hatching, no people, no text, no logos or watermarks.
