Authentic nature photograph, square 1:1. A single wild grass snake, olive-green with a pale yellow collar and dark flank bars, rests in a loose half-coil on damp, faded brown leaf litter beside a lichen-covered, moss-softened old stump at the edge of a wetland. Head raised slightly, tongue still, calm and unaware of the camera. Flat overcast daylight, no harsh shadows, natural muted colours of olive, umber and grey-green. Shot from a low, distant viewpoint at ground level with a 300mm telephoto lens, shallow depth of field, soft blurred reeds and water behind, subtle sensor grain, accurate scale detail. Quiet, reflective documentary feel. No people, no text, no logos, no watermarks.
