Golden Glow in the Loft
A marker-drawn industrial room seen through condensation-edged glass, with an oversized pendant casting warm light onto concrete.
Small 512×640, Medium 960×1200
Finished hand-drawn marker editorial illustration, 4:5 portrait. Look through the rounded rectangular glass pane of a dark petrol-blue factory door into one empty industrial loft. Condensation hugs the pane edges as a few broad milky smudges and large droplets; the centre stays clear. Inside, one absurdly broad, shallow ochre metal pendant hangs low from a short black cable, slightly right of centre. Its luminous honey-yellow underside casts a generous oval of warm light across the bare concrete floor. A single exposed steel beam and a muted terracotta brick wall establish the industrial interior, with only a few loose marks suggesting brickwork. Exaggerated squat proportions, subtly uneven contours, broad marker fills and restrained paper texture. Oblique viewpoint, simple spatial depth, ample quiet floor below the lamp. Cool blue-grey shadows contrast with the golden glow. No people, intricate hatching, text, logos or watermarks.
