Erased Before Finished
An unfinished pencil circle surrounds a rubbed-through patch on a drawing sheet, beside a worn eraser and a resting pencil.
Small 640×427, Medium 1200×800
High-key studio editorial photograph, 3:2 landscape, overhead medium-close view. A plain drawing sheet lies slightly askew on a matte off-white worktable, extending beyond the lower frame. Near its left side, a hesitant graphite circle has been repeatedly erased: overlapping faint arcs surround a small rubbed-through tear. A worn unbranded white eraser rests beside the patch with a few ordinary eraser crumbs; an unmarked wooden pencil lies diagonally across the sheet's edge. Everything appears left mid-practice, not arranged into a symbolic tableau. Broad diffused studio light keeps whites bright without clipping. A restrained pale-blue water-ripple projection crosses the exposed tabletop, leaving the erased circle clearly visible. Natural paper colour, realistic graphite and irregular wear, ample quiet space on the right. Moderate depth of field, crisp but not hyper-detailed, no artificial grain. No people, no text, no logos or watermarks.
