Experimental long-exposure photograph, square 1:1. One small handcrafted wooden abacus lies flat on cool gray wool felt, viewed from a slightly elevated three-quarter angle. Its honey-colored frame has simple traditional joinery; hand-turned beads carry muted ochre, brick-red and sage dyes. Clearly separated bead groups make visual counting easy to understand. On one rod, a single brick-red bead is captured sliding across an open gap, leaving a short translucent horizontal motion trail; all other beads and the frame remain crisp. Physically plausible movement along the rod, not a glowing effect. Warm light from an off-frame practical table lamp grazes the wood, with gentle cool ambient fill and soft shadows. Restrained winter-interior palette, uncluttered styling, generous empty space around the learning tool. Tripod-mounted camera, 50mm lens, controlled slow shutter. No people, no text, no logos, no watermarks.
