Finished hand-drawn colored-pencil editorial illustration, 5:6 portrait. One comically wide, squat, open glass brining jar occupies the lower-left portion of a warm cream background. Viewed slightly from above, its broad oval mouth reveals pale blue saltwater brine. Two oversized, gently curved green cucumbers nest together entirely beneath the waterline; a simple cream ceramic weight holds them down. Exaggerated jar belly, tiny base, slightly asymmetric outline. Keep the cucumbers clearly visible through the glass using simple transparent blue shapes, not realistic refraction. Thick loose colored-pencil contours, broad waxy color fills with gentle paper grain, the bold simplicity of a marker illustration. Forest green, lime, pale blue and cream, with a small muted coral shadow beneath the jar. Flat, legible silhouettes and generous breathing room above and to the right. No intricate hatching, diagrams, people, text, logos or watermarks.
