Before the Lights Come On
A plain toothbrush with fresh toothpaste lies across the rim of a wet ceramic sink, illuminated by candlelight in a dark bathroom.
Small 512×640, Medium 960×1200
Analog documentary-style editorial photograph, 4:5 portrait. Close overhead-oblique view of an ordinary small bathroom sink before sunrise. One unbranded muted-blue toothbrush lies diagonally across the near ceramic rim, its head extending slightly over the basin, a modest dab of fresh white toothpaste on the bristles. A few genuine water droplets remain around it. A single candle just outside the left edge supplies all illumination: a warm highlight along the toothbrush and curved enamel, with the basin falling into deep natural shadow. Crop out the mirror, toiletries and most fixtures. The toothbrush is the clear focal point; the dark bowl provides breathing room. Observed rather than arranged, quietly interrupted morning routine. Normal-lens perspective, sufficient depth of field, realistic low-light exposure, restrained colour and gentle film-like highlight rolloff. No added grain, manufactured grime, HDR or artificial blur. No people, no text, no logos or watermarks.
