After the Tray
An outdoor bakery workbench shows a rectangular gap in residual flour, a steel scraper and repeated tray slots beneath a dark timber top.
Small 512×640, Medium 960×1200
Editorial natural-light photograph, portrait 4:5. A working bakery bench just outside an open service doorway in a small sheltered courtyard, under an overcast sky. Photograph from a moderately elevated three-quarter angle, close enough that the walnut-brown timber worktop dominates. Residual flour surrounds one clean rectangular footprint where a baking tray has just been lifted; its imperfect edges reveal the dark wood. A single plain steel dough scraper rests beside the footprint. Below, crop in three repeating rectangular slots of the practical metal tray rack supporting the top. Muted clay plaster behind, no decorative props. Soft open-sky light makes the work surface brighter than the shaded doorway, without a hard spotlight or theatrical beam. Real timber wear, restrained flour residue, neutral exposure and natural colour. 50mm lens, sufficient depth of field to retain the rack geometry. Strong graphic framing with breathing room around the flour rectangle. No people, no text, no logos or watermarks.
