A Very Wide Fossil
A broad, flattened coral-colony fossil overhangs a small workshop bench, framed by a doorway in a simple marker illustration.
Small 640×533, Medium 1200×1000
Finished editorial marker illustration, 6:5 landscape. Look through a workshop doorway from a slightly elevated angle at one enormous, pancake-shaped fossil coral colony resting horizontally on a tiny wooden bench. Place the fossil low and right, its uneven flattened oval silhouette dramatically overhanging both ends of the bench. Show its stone identity with a chipped ochre rim and a few oversized, irregular honeycomb-like corallite impressions across the exposed upper surface; no living coral branches. Loose dark-brown marker contours, broad sandy-yellow and muted lavender fills, occasional visible stroke overlaps. Warm daylight from the left. Two cropped, pale doorway edges imply the threshold; the workshop beyond is an uncluttered cream wash. Keep the fossil strongly outlined and the surroundings faint. Generous empty space at upper left. Playful exaggerated scale, legible at thumbnail size, no intricate texture, no diagram styling. No people, text, logos or watermarks.
