A Playful Cut

Finished editorial cut-paper collage with expressive hand-drawn marker contours, 3:2 landscape. On a warm cream tabletop, one pair of editing scissors with comically broad cobalt handles and short silver-grey blades lies partly open across a wide, kinked strip of film. The film runs diagonally through the lower-left two-thirds, changing abruptly from coral to teal at one small translucent splice. Use only a few large rectangular frame windows and chunky sprocket holes; no imagery within the frames. Clearly layered paper silhouettes, slightly irregular cut edges, flat colour fills and loose broad marker outlines. Hard midday light from upper left creates short, crisp paper shadows. Keep the arrangement legible at thumbnail size, with generous empty cream space toward the upper right. Simple materials, no intricate texture or hatching, no diagram, no people. No text, logos or watermarks.
