A Leaf Becomes Food
A horizontal macro sequence shows the same caterpillar feeding at a leaf edge as a small notch gradually widens.
Small 640×360, Medium 1200×675
Hyperrealistic quiet documentary macro photography, overall 16:9 landscape. Three equal photographs side by side with narrow ivory gutters, all captured from a locked camera during the same feeding session. In every frame, the same small green caterpillar grips the edge of the same living leaf, seen in precise lateral profile. Left: its head reaches toward the intact edge. Centre: its mouthparts bite into a small notch. Right: the notch is slightly wider as feeding continues. Keep scale, leaf position, exposure and background identical; no duplicated insects within any frame. Soft daylight passes through the thin leaf, revealing veins and casting a faint green glow beneath the caterpillar. Muted, out-of-focus woodland background with breathing room above. 100mm macro lens, sufficient depth of field for the head, gripping legs and eaten edge; gentle optical falloff elsewhere. Accurate anatomy, natural surface detail, controlled highlights, restrained colour grading. No people, no text, no logos or watermarks.
