A Gust Along the Trail
A square photographic diptych follows a fern’s movement beside an empty timber boardwalk in cool woodland twilight.
Small 640×640, Medium 1200×1200
Hyperrealistic quiet documentary photographic diptych, overall 1:1 square: two equal landscape exposures stacked with a narrow ivory gutter. Both photographs show the same empty forest boardwalk from an identical tripod position, captured seconds apart during one gust. Low viewpoint, 35mm lens; weathered damp planks lead from the lower left toward a shadowed bend in the upper right. One naturally rooted fern beside the near edge lifts across the planks in the first exposure and settles beside them in the second. Keep the boardwalk sharply resolved, with slight authentic motion softness only on the moving frond. Cool blue-hour skylight, deep green woodland, faint low mist beyond the bend, open shadow detail and restrained contrast. The trail remains the dominant visual structure; uncluttered framing and convincing optical depth. Natural photographic colour, accurate wood and foliage, no CGI appearance or excessive sharpening. No people, text, logos or watermarks.
